Farm-Style Pickled Pork Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 pickled pork
- 6 pepper corns
- 4 cloves
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup brown malt vinegar
Method:
Remove Pickled Pork from bag
- Rinse pork under cold water
- Place into a suitable pot
- Cover with cold water
- Add pepper corns, cloves, sugar and vinegar
- Cover and bake in oven at 160°C for 3 hours
MUMS FAMOUS MUSTARD SAUCE
1 egg
¼ cup sugar
1 Tablespoon plain flour
1 Tablespoon mustard
1 cup of water
¼ cup malt vinegar
Put all ingredients into a microwave safe jug mix, cook 1 min stir repeat 2-3 times or until thick
ONION SAUCE
1 Finely chopped onion fry slowly in a pot (do not brown) add 2 Tablespoons butter & 2 Tablespoons flour, salt & pepper to taste stir over medium heat until thick then cook a couple more mins add chopped parsley if you like.
